Ao Oni

Ao Oni is a Japanese Horror game that you can download for free here. It is an RPG that is similar to a room escape game. Graphics wise, it is not appealing. 

What keeps me entertained despite of that fact is the guy above - he's the one that sends out goosebumps on me. I didn't expect that my pulse will rise as I play this game. I mean come on, the graphics is nothing that you could be scared of however when that guy shows up...damn! He may look like a retard, far from what you'll consider as horrifying, but dudes really, take him seriously!!

Furthermore what adds up to the feel of the game is the sound effects. In my case, I used earphones while I play, so I can hear it clearly. That mocking sound.... that sound that seem to run with you and haunt you down. Like a killer with a knife on his hand, ready to stab IN ADDITION TO THAT UBE MAN! 

This game made me laugh and scream at the same time. I don't think I've played enough horror games. I don't own PS, PSP, XBOX, or whatever gaming platform that could probably offer a wide variety of horror games. When it comes to computer games, I play online games more. 

I will look up for more games like this. Preferably from independent game makers or free games like this

A day with trolls

My gosh... I don't know what to feel.
Today I played as Lulu in LOL. I only play once a day just to get the first win.
The line up seems great. Voli - Cait - Tryn - Elise - Lulu

But wtf, they made me solo top
Voli was a total troll he didn't go straight top. He joined Cait at bot who got disconnected.
He kept on crying and saying "vovo vovo" hahaha he laned with me and kept telling me that.

HA.
Think he'll turn on my fuse? I'm sorry Voli - JUST PLAY.
He didn't.
He trolled.

I don't know what to feel
I was supposed to play support! I turned out to be AP type 'cause Voli is already 0-7
I got kills
Something is off when my Lulu gets kills.


My other team mates didn't get affected as well. In fact they were playing pretty well. They handled him well HAHAHAHA. Well at least not all LOL players get provoked by such silly words.

They probably have been immunized at this point.

Just one regret though
My LOL crashed after the game, I wasn't able to follow how the conversation went :))
It turned out to be fun I suppose

Earthbound

Yo! Look here I'm back playing SNES games.
Today I played Earthbound.

Earthbound is a game in which you play as Ness, a boy who will go on an adventure to save the world!

It is an adventure type of game similar to other RPG. The idea that separates it from other games is its one of the battle mode.

You get to have battles set on auto -- if you think you are sure to win or else it'll be auto death. The normal attack for Ness would be Bash since he uses a Baseball Bat as his weapon so you just basically bash. He has a magic type of power for offense, defense, and recovery. However the PP (psychic power) is low at low level so spamming won't be a way to win it.

You should also level up to gain more offensive power and all those. I find the enemies quite annoying since they are aggressive as fuck. There is an option "Run Away" but everytime I wanted to, it does not allow me. Their aggressiveness is one of the reason why I constantly die! Like mind your own business duudes

Although once you reached a level higher than the enemies, then they will run away from you. If you engage a battle to low level enemies, it's an instant win! Free EXP! Revenge at its finest!

Moreover I like the fact that Earthbound is such a colorful game.

I enjoy playing it since it is so cartoonish and the sound gives a happy vibe that suits the graphics.

I am currently in the second city of the game. I'm not in a hurry to finish this game but I will finish it.

League of Legends

Welcome to Summoner's Rift

League of Legends is a game classified under Multiplayer Online Battle Arena video game or MOBA. It is a game where you join a team of 5, pick a champion, and battle it out against your opponent in the Summoner's Rift. 

My friend invited me to play this, he's also the one who invited me to play C9. HAHA. I never knew I'd play a game like this which is similar to DOTA where most of the guys seem to play. The first time I played it was really funny since I have no clue. There were little minions and that's all I wanted to kill.

I mean, I don't give any interest on the enemy champion SINCE I do not want to engage into battle. I was in a "leave me alone I won't hurt ya" kind of thinking. However that didn't work since the aggressiveness of the players were intense. 

I mean dude, they are level 30. I'm level 1. WTF? 

I really got a lot of laugh trips during those first times. It is so funny.

I hate it though, when players bash you and start to trash talk. 

Honestly, I was kind of hurt the first time those bastards gave me a piece of their shit. Haha. However thanks to my lovely playmates so understanding and patient although I think they are ready to explode to because of my dumb playing strategy! HAHA. 

I don't know what they are thinking! 

It was kind of embarrassing too for a fact that we play every single game together and I don't do a thing. HAHAHAHA. Really funny. I'd love to go back to my first time and record my game play. I'm sure It's going to be epic. 

Well I watched my bro played and he's level 30 and he also plays with his friends who are like, level 15. And what happens is that he just constantly laughs, leaves his friend alone getting ganked, killed, 0 kills 25 deaths 0 assists, kind of thing. 

Right now, I still think I don't deserve level 30. HAHA. Like what the hell. Level 30? O come on! Who am I kidding! Haha. Oh but I can win without my playmates :3 SOMETIMES. HAHAHAHA. But just so you know, I created a new LoL account where all of my enemies are low level. Ha. So fun. Now I call it even! 

Less trash talkers too. I even had this one game where we were losing already, and then one of my teammate kept on typing /surrender, but everyone else disagrees, so he just gathered us all so we can do Harlem Shake. We like used our ultimate + QWER + DF + /dance. We ended up being LoL friends and redeeming ourselves the next game. Worth it. 

Anyway, because of this game I learned about videogamedunkey, sykkuno, and MachinimaRealm which are all YouTube personalities who uploads funny / awesome videos that makes me laugh. Sometimes I just want to watch game plays. I grew an interest on the game and by just watching, it entertains me already.

Well if you want to play League of Legends, I think it is better to play it with friends rather than trying it out alone since for me, it is complicated but when explained well, you'll get a hang on it.

Melee vs Range

Opinion:

Kapag melee kasi, sugod ka dahil kailangan malapit sa kalaban. Kapag ranged, kailangan ng distance so sanay sa distance -- lol. Ewan depende rin siguro sa player.

Or hardcore gamer para mas sosyal ang tawag. LOL.

C9 Slayer Review

I never used melee characters in an online game. I played Hunter(Lineage) / Sorceress(DN), so for a change, I planned to make a Blade Dancer in C9 but sadly that character has not yet been created. I was left between a Warden (Ice Mage) or a Slayer. I chose the slayer because it is melee.

Slayer may sound like a badass character using sword skills - that is 50% true. A Slayer in C9 has 50%   taijutsu / grappling skills. As I progressed I came to realize it is not a plain swordsman. It has kicking and throwing skills that requires the character to be close to the enemy. Downside is that this character has a low HP (bad for a melee class).

However, it is ranked high in PVP battles since probably, it can have combos that will make the enemy pinned to the ground and up in the air - making it hard for them to recover if combos are successful.

Honestly, I am having a hard time doing dungeons solo due to the low HP. Probably if I buy better pots but the market in C9 is something -- prices comes in thousands-mil. Can't buy any proper armor fit for my level :)) If only I started the game earlier, I could have farm and saved up for the 4th continent. 

I won't quit still, I'm level 53 and the max is 57. 

Let's see what will happen to me :)) And also, I'll practice PVP.

Lag is another issue.

If I lag or enemy lag, the last thing I know is that I'm being raped o_o

Hirap na ng C9.. grabe walang game na madali lalo na kapag MMORPG. Yung market place kasi players din ang nag dedecide ng prices. Grabe mamahal. Quit na! Haha. Hirap promise. Pero worth it kapag nakuha mo yung the best grabs. 

Stuck nga ako sa game ngayon e. Natatagalan ako sa dungeon. Hindi lang siguro ako ganun ka patient. LOL. Pero kasi resu ako ng resu... so.. ganun @_@

Games Progress

Heya! I feel like posting screenshots of the games I'm playing, and to somehow give my thoughts about it.

1. Chrono Trigger

That's Chrono - Lucca - Robo (R-L). Chrono is the main character and, he always leads the line. This is 65,000,000AD that's why you'll see those nearly nude men dancin' 

Okay so about my progress, I don't know what chapter this is already but I think I went far enough. I just won against Magus, I felt like attacking him for hours and hours he just won't DIE. 

So far this game has been fun and has kept me entertained :3 I'm really into this kinds of games.

2. Final Fantasy VI

That's Locke. I'm in the chapter where Terra reacted to the... I forgot O_O Esperr!!  That's it. LOL. Anyway, so far so good. I almost deleted this one because I got stuck. I'm such a newbie in RPG games but THANKS walk throughs XD Well I'll try my best not to always look for a hint :p 

But honestly, looking too long at a walk through may disappoint you because you realize there are mistakes you did. But, of course it's unavoidable so I'll suck it up. I won't restart FFVI! Go fight my characters even if you are all obviously weak :\ LOL. However don't get me wrong, I'm really interested with this game. It's the famous FF line, so I'm curious about all of them. I've played FFVII But didn't finish. Lol. So I'm starting with this one and then ya... you know what's next.

3. Earthbound

Now that boy's name is Ness! The game really reminds me of Snoopy! It has that cartoon kind of feel that's why I decided to play it. It may seem ordinary but that boy has to level up to save earth! He's level 6 and he isn't fully equipped yet. 

I'm having fun with the colors and the feel of this game. I haven't progressed enough to comment a lot about it though. 

4. Tales of Phantasia

This is the new game I've found. It's from the Tales series. I don't know much about it but I've read it in one of the forums that it is a good game so I downloaded it. It seems to be famous though.

Well, the graphics are awesome. The colors are kind of vintage and the characters are chibi! When you compare all the images I posted, this one wins. You can even see the reflection of the character right? Yes, In game you can see the reflection. Talking about hardcore pixel art makers O_O

Oh and by the way, this one has an anime version!

Well I don't know if I'll continue Earthbound but it's such a troll :))

I'm still looking for others. I've been playing FFVI and Link to the Past last few months,  but I've stopped because I was stuck in both games, I've just returned playing FFVI and, I probably would try to figure out Zelda if I get tired of the other games. Haha.

-I spend most of my time playing Chrono Trigger, so it progressed the most.
-I just started Earthbound
-On Harvest Moon, I only have 1 Cow and it is already Fall it pisses me off. Lol. Get's boring at times. I've finished this game already but I just want to play it again.
-I defeated 2 gyms in Pokemon Yellow, but I'm not going to continue.
-I've continued FFIV today.

After I finish FFVI and Chrono Trigger I'll download the PS emulator :))  So I can play other Final Fantasy games and Chrono Cross.

First person shooter

I tried playing Half Life 2 but it made me feel nauseous @_@
I asked my brother about it he said he felt the same way.

Noob

The funny thing about S4, an online MMORPG third person shooter game, are the bashing. It's like there is a transition of one's attitude. If you're a newbie, and it's your first time to participate a match, all you'll hear are

At this point you will really feel you suck. Like a total idiot. Like all the things they said basically fits you. So normally you'll respond with --- well you don't respond. You just ignore, but your heart has been crushed already. You're also nice with other newbies. You like pat each other's back while those 'pro' people gang on verbal abuse. 

But then after a while you'll get used to it. Like 'yea call me bitch you dumbass noob' You'll finally talk! Like talk back! You'll start arguing how those 'pro' people think highly of themselves. You'll shout out 'sorry for being noob' or 'i'm trying' 'at least i'm trying' and your heart is crushed but more of frustrated at this point. Then you rage quit o_o

And then when you finally, finally get a grasp of everything. Whenever talk shit people will bash at you, laugh like that -- you'll answer them with a kill, with a point, with a TOUCHDOWN. I find it pretty amusing riding with the noisy ones. Well once I ran along this guy named testif, he was really so high of himself, he'd call everybody noob. Then I called him "... testif pro! wooo" "alright team gang up on testif" "oh no we can't kill him, he's pro :(" "...all hail testif" "...testif IDOL" 

I was really laughing out loud. 

I started liking people like him because they are the ones to argue with. Not those poor genuine newbies. lol

They really don't give a damn if they get bad reputations. It's online and it's a game! Be bad at times lol. It's fun haha. 

S4's really a nice game. It gets better when you get to argue back XD In a good way of course. Because a game will undeniably be boring -- and you'll start appreciating the chat thing. Lol. Maybe I'll try to bash sometimes? Just see how people will react. Hehehehe >:)

The Academic

ACADEMIC:

This is the newest character in Dragon Nest SEA which was launched last April 23 if I am not mistaken. For that reason, I patched and made a character because I really want to try out this little gunner. In my opinion, it is easier to use than Sorceress because you can spam a normal attack (i.e. shooting) without effort. A skill that allows you to shoot 3 times in a row also cool downs fast. However, what I miss about being a Sorceress is its ability to gather mobs in the middle and kill them all! An Academic can't do that.

Another skill I like is 'Alfredo' it is a robot summoned. To my surprise, it does not die easily. I thought it will go away after a minute, but it stays as long as it has life :D 

I am currently level 12, haven't advanced to the second job yet. Only 4 levels though XD I'm going to make my character into an Engineer -- one that makes use of Alfredo skills and Ducks (that acts as guns/bombs). In short, mecha-type focused. Totally different from what I usually use XD 

The other option is an Alchemist -- don't know much about it, because I am settled with being the former, I don't really have the interest to look upon how this works. 

Dragon Nest SEA (Springwood server) is filled with Academics which makes it seem to be the only job class available XD I saw tweets of other people saying that they got back the game to try this character out. 

So yeah, to feed the curiousity! Try if you must ;) 

Virtual GBA

I was thinking about what to write... my thoughts, my worries, my anxiety, or the new game that I am playing. Well, the later sounds more interesting than the rest so...

I downloaded a GBA emulator. During grade school or high school I bought those emulators for 100 pesos at Cubao. I don't even know they were called emulator. The only thing they said was "click here, then here... choose the game and there you go!" Like it was magic. Like they were the ones who invented it. （．＿．）

They sell it on a CD-rom and I get to pick 6 different games. I never knew I could get them for free, online. Imagine the hundreds I could have save O_o

Anyway, I downloaded Pokemon Yellow and The Legend of Zelda. I never finished Pokemon nor played The Legend of Zelda so I enjoy playing them today :3 I play it on notebook tho. There are other emulators such as for PS and XBOX. I downloaded the one for PS, but I haven't downloaded a game for it -- I thought of my review stuff, I'll get addicted once I started so, I have this GBA, it'll solve the boredom for a while ^_^

I guess I'll never tire of trying out games, just like watching anime, and blogging XD

When my brother bought a video card to improve grahics, I was the happiest!

Dragon Nest has never been so cool and motivating to play XD My fps does not fail in S4 also.

But the moment he decided to sell it (again), that's the worse that could happen Q_Q Now I want to by a new one so that he won't sell it. He has this buy and sell thing. I'm not a fan of that routine T_T

Microvolts

I've been talking about games lately, so here's an addition to what I've been busy with. Microvolts

It is a third shooter MMORPG wherein all characters are toys, made up of plastic and operated with batteries. Their battlefield ain't a huge landscape with old buildings, railtracks, forrests and all those. They play inside the house -- in the kitchen, tables, doll house, toy ship, garden or even a chess board.

For a Microvolt character, everything is humongous.

That is why I enjoy playing it XD It's a diffrent perspective. I appreciate cute stuff like this hoho. The weapons are not hard to use. What makes it hard are perhaps, other players :P

My problem is my ms/ping. Since the server is in UK, I get 200-400ms each time I play. I'm already happy if it goes around 150 because people won't kick me :| haha. So I prefer creating a room for my own and wait for asians to come along XD

Well, I've learned that Japan has a server and they call the game H.A.V.E Online instead -- although it's closed beta and, I've got no english translation. And I've been hoping PH adapts either S4 or this one. Or even Gunz online but I doubt about that XD

Dante's Inferno

I was about to play Patapon using the PSP of my brother, but I found out he downloaded a new game -- Dante's Inferno. It is based on Dante Aligheiri's book, Inferno. Honestly this game makes me want to read the book.

Dante has the power to either Punish or Absolve a soul. The first one was Pontious Pilate. I absolved him lol. Turns out that the number of souls you absolve or punish affects the powers you can buy. But what if it was for real? Lol. I don't want to be responsible XD

Right now I am on the level of Greed.

I'm stucked at the revolving plates or wheels. Seems like I can't jump off them at the moment, even if I rage nothing happens. Lol. Maybe tomorrow or something. I watched a walkthrough at youtube but the game platform was PS3 and the revolving wheels there was more feasible XD I don't know what happened to the PSP's version got all nuts.

Playing perhaps is like reading the book. But a movie would be nice. Is there a movie? Lol I think there isn't but... that, I have to find out.

Mr. Jones Graveyard

We have 3 yahoo games CD here.

One CD are all Zombie games because my dad likes Plants VS. Zombies, but it comes in a package of various zombie games so YAY. The two other CD's are completely random.

So I got bored yesterday because there was no internet, so I installed one of the Zombie games which was "Mr. Jones Graveyard Shift" and it was FUN. It's like harvest moon, but you dig graves instead. You run a graveyard and meet certain requirements and just have fun all the way. It's worth it for me.

Although the CRACK on the CD is messed up, so the game ended up to be deleted the moment I turned the computer on again this morning, because it has some malware with it. On times like this, I hate not to have access on things I want to buy. I don't have Paypal or stuff like that. And yea, I guess I'll buy this game even though it costs $6 because of my impulsiveness.

Just when can I play full version? :|

Resonance Of Fate

My brother bought an XBOX360
I just watch him play haha. But when I saw that he was playing the game with 3 protagonists that jumps high in the air while doing stunts at the same time aiming their arms at the enemies, COOL.

The game's called Resonance of Fate also known as End of Eternity.

We never really had a gaming platform except for the computer. I have played some online games including Audition, O2Jam, Lineage II and Gunz Online. Resonance of Fate is like Gunz Online wherein both deal with guns. Hower, Resonance of Fate designed it in a more elegant way, in my opinion :>

I do hope my brother does not sell his XBOX :(
