Arrietty

"Arrietty" is another film created by the makers of Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away, The Cat Returns and many more. It was released July 2010 in Japan.

Every time I watch a Studio Ghibli film, it gives me a refreshing feeling. I am not really sure where the feeling sprouted from - but it's the same as always :] Perhaps, the way they present their movie in a classic way, and at the same time it is accompanied by light music; surely it creates a calming atmosphere.

Their simple story also makes me want those to become real. Well, fantasy does not have its boundaries XD But its just so cool to be able to see 'little people'. Reminded me of Microvolts, the game that I tried to play, because in the movie they showed a kitchen scene and everything is just so big for Arrietty and her father. And in the last part it reminded me of thumbelina.

Oh and one more thing.

I don't know what's up with Studio Ghibli's male characters but - if someone was like them in real life, OMG - I'd probably fall in love with them. Lmao. They seemed to be so kind, gentle, calm... wow. Howl and Seiji are my favorites :>

As for the ladies, I like Sophie and Chihiro :>

If life's just like a Ghibli film, with all the beautiful places, home sweet homes - I'll be lucky and happy and satisfied. I can spend the whole day reading a book while lying down on a flower bed. What a splendid life ^3^
