Letters To God

"Letters to God" The title caught my attention. In this movie, they made use of a child as their lead -- a child with an illness gives me the idea of purity and innocence.

Kids start without any doubts or second thoughts. Once they feel that it seems to be true they'll believe in it. Just like Santa Claus, fairies and magic. However, things do change when you start to grow up.

Is that the reason, why some children gets serious illnesses? I get this feeling that they have a role. There are kids that can make an adult's complicated life a little less serious with just one line. And because adults feel sympathy to the kid, they'll listen and do simple things -- and find themselves taking it seriously.

"Write a letter to God"
"Don't get me wrong but I think it is lame"
"No it's not, that's what I do all the time. Give it a try"

This is a nice movie, although I've seen similar plots -- but it is worth the watch :) You'll hear their OST, "Dear Mr. God" and "The best of everything"
